Congratulations Taylor!
The photo above is of Taylor Conner, Northern High School student, receiving the National Wild
Turkey Federation Western MD chapter scholarship award for 2019 from Brian Friend, W. MD
NWTF president. The award was presented at our annual banquet on January 19, 2019 at the
Avilton Community Center. Each year local high school seniors have the opportunity to apply for a
scholarship grant through the local NWTF chapter. The winner of the local scholarship is then
entered in the scholarship program on the state level. The winner of the state scholarship is then
entered in the national scholarship program.
